Overview
EAH-8 5.5.8.0 includes the following improvements and bugfixes.
Improvements
- Support temporarily unlocking locations for a specific duration (requires Access 2.2.11).
- Support ending an unlock schedule ahead of time (requires Access 2.2.11).
- Support keeping a location locked down, which can be unlocked remotely or via a physical button (requires Access 2.2.11).
- Support setting the Emergency terminal’s trigger level to "Open Active (NC)" or "Close Active (NO)" in Terminal Manager (requires Access 2.2.11).
- Allow changes in EAH-8 settings to take effect immediately.
- Improved the location unlock speed when triggered via a physical button.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where a conflict between Unlock Schedule and Emergency Evacuation prevented a location from being locked.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect information was logged when a location was unlocked remotely using UA-Intercom-Viewer.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect information was logged when a doorbell was triggered when the Button mode was set to "Ring/Trigger Chime."
- Fixed an issue where clicking "Lock Now" generated duplicate logs when the Unlock Schedule was enabled.

- Fixed an issue where a door failed to lock after its unlock schedule ended if emergency evacuation was enabled during the schedule and then disabled afterward.
- Fixed a potential issue where a door failed to unlock if the EAH-8 lost power during an active unlock schedule and then was reconnected after the schedule ended.

- Unlock Schedule: Time ranges that span across days (e.g., 6:00 PM–2:00 AM) no longer end automatically between 11:59:59 PM and 12:00:00 AM.
Bugfixes
- Fixed a potential issue that could cause the EAH-8 to run out of memory and go offline.
- Fixed an issue where the door did not lock correctly when multiple actions occurred in sequence (e.g., an active Unlock Schedule, followed by Lock Now, followed by Unlock).
- Fixed an issue where ending the Unlock Schedule on one door incorrectly ended the schedule on all other doors.
- Fixed an issue where an Exit Request set to "Ring/Trigger Chime" could incorrectly unlock the door after restarting the EAH-8.
- Fixed an issue where the License Plate Unlock logs incorrectly recorded the direction as entry instead of exit.

- Fixed a potential issue where the firmware update failed.
- Fixed a rare issue where the EAH-8 became unadopted and the door remained locked (LED remained static blue) after a power loss and recovery.
