UniFi Access G3 Reader Pro 1.0.19 includes the following improvements and bugfixes.

Improvements

• Support door unlocking using the Touch Pass added to Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Apple Watch. See this article for Touch Pass details and instructions.
• Requirements:
• Ensure G3 Readers are adopted in the Access application

• Optimized the live view stability after a doorbell call is answered.

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where the UA-G3-Pro could not recognize the third-party MIFARE DESFire EV2 cards.

• Fixed an issue where UA-G3-Pro incorrectly announced "Invalid Credential" even after the door was unlocked.
• Fixed an issue where Mobile Unlock sometimes could not unlock doors.
• Fixed an issue where MIFARE Classic (M1) cards could not unlock doors.
• Fixed an issue where the doorbell sound sometimes continued playing even when not on the doorbell screen.

• Improved the credential verification process and door unlocking speed.
• Facial recognition works from a longer distance when Most Sensitive or Sensitive is selected in Face Unlock settings (requires Access application 3.2.41 or later).
• Supports 2-Step Authentication.
• Enable it in Access application > Devices > select UA G3 Pro > Settings > Access Methods > 2-Step Authentication and select Require Two Methods or Require Approver.

• Fixed an issue where the screen sometimes did not wake when someone approached.
• Fixed an issue where the unlock animation sometimes did not appear during unlocking.

UniFi Access G3 Reader Pro 1.11.22.0 includes the following improvements and bugfixes.

Improvements

• Improved Face Unlock verification experience.
• Improved sound feedback during identity verification.
• The facial recognition frame now turns red with no sound feedback when a face is unrecognized.
• Supports tapping the screen to wake the device when in high- or low-temperature screen protection mode (indicated by an amber status LED).
• Improved video performance on the receiving end during third-party SIP calls.
• Automatically adjusts video quality in poor network conditions to ensure live view and doorbell functionality.

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where doorbell notifications were not received on VIPTel.
• Fixed incorrect device color display in the Access application > Devices list.
