UniFi Access G3 Intercom 1.7.29 includes the following improvements and bugfixes.

Improvements

• Improved the credential verification process and door unlocking speed.
• Supports facial recognition from a longer distance when anti-spoofing is disabled in Face Unlock (requires Access application 3.2.41 or later).
• Supports 2-Step Authentication.
• Enable it in Access application > Devices > select UA G3 Intercom > Settings > Access Methods > 2-Step Authentication and select Require Two Methods or Require Approver.
• Requirements:
• Access application 3.2.41 or later
• UA-Hub/UA-Hub-Door 4.9.14.0 or later
• EAH-8 5.7.17.0 or later
• Supports showing or hiding the logo on the screen in Access application > Devices > Caller Manager > select UA G3 Intercom > Interface > Logo (requires Access application 3.2.41 or later).

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where the screen sometimes did not wake when someone approached.
• Fixed an issue where the unlock animation sometimes did not appear during unlocking.

• Improved Face Unlock verification experience.
• Improved sound feedback during identity verification.
• The facial recognition frame now turns red with no sound feedback when a face is unrecognized.
• Supports tapping the screen to wake the device when in low-temperature screen protection mode.
• Automatically adjusts video quality in poor network conditions to ensure live view and doorbell functionality.
• Improved video performance on the receiving end during third-party SIP calls.
• Added an A–Z index on the right side of the Directory list to make navigation easier when there are more than 10 directories.

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where directory names consisting of numbers were not sorted correctly.
• Fixed an issue where doorbell notifications were not received on VIPTel.
