    Overview

We're excited to introduce 3 powerful, new features to InnerSpace: multi-floor coverage offers a powerful new way to visualize Wi-Fi deployments in multi-story buildings while the revamp of wall materials gives full flexibility to map out any building or site and the sensor integration exposes the readings of all sensors on a floor plan at a glance.

    Improvements

    Multi-floor coverage

    • Use the new "Floor Plan Alignment" mode to align floor plans within your building.
    • You can choose which floor plans are part of the building and align them with each other for accurate calculations.
    • When you've added 2 or more floors to your building, access points will extend their coverage to the floor below them.
    • A new view setting allows you to hide coverage from other floors when you want to verify the coverage of one floor in isolation.

    Wall materials

    • Default materials were updated to offer a greater variety and better coverage of real-world wall types.
    • Editable attenuation: You can now adjust the attenuation value of each wall material to better match your needs.
    • Custom materials: You can now create your own wall materials, including setting the name, color, and attenuation.
    • Wall drawing will now default to the last used material.

    USL sensor integration

    • All sensor readings from the new USL sensor lineup are now displayed in a unified, at-a-glance view.
    • Readings that fall outside your defined acceptable range are automatically highlighted, so you can quickly spot potential issues.
    • Hovering over a measurement reveals a 24-hour graph showing how that value has changed over time, helping you diagnose trends and anomalies.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed an issue where some 3D models of devices rendered the wrong color variant.
    • Fixed an issue where some access points would not render their coverage areas correctly.

    Improvements

    Floor Plan Improvements

    • Improved snapping behavior for more precise drawing.
    • Hold Shift to temporarily disable wall snapping.
    • Wall replacement: Drawing a wall on top of another now replaces the existing wall, making it easier to insert doors or other segments.
    • Modify floor plans created via LiDAR scans in the Ubiquiti Portal app for iOS - add, remove, or adjust walls as needed.
    • Replace floor plan image: You can now swap out a floor plan without needing to re-draw walls or re-place devices.
    • Improved 3D floor plan lighting for a more lively and realistic appearance.
    • Improved zooming, panning, and rotation of 3D floor plans for greater visibility and a more fluid experience.

    Satellite View for Site Maps

    • You can now toggle satellite imagery for more context when planning site layouts.

    Custom Floor Attenuation

    • Adjust attenuation between floors to better reflect your use case.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed an issue where Site Maps could appear as blank floor plans when imported from Design Center.
    • Fixed an issue where devices could shift position in 3D after floor plan alignment.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause camera calibration to render the position preview indicator outside of the calibration area.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause performance degradation on deployments with several hundreds of devices.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause the chart for opening events to stop working for sensors that detect entry events.

    Secondary & Tertiary WiFi Coverage

    • Added support for secondary and tertiary coverage visualization.
    • You can switch between coverage types from the coverage legend in the floor plan view.
    • Secondary and tertiary coverage heatmaps display areas where 2, 3 or more APs overlap, helping identify potential dead spots during AP outages.

    Quality of Life Improvements

    • Improved visual fidelity of 3D floor plan models.
    • The settings side panel for UniFi sensors is now also accessible directly within InnerSpace.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed an issue that could prevent detection events from showing up correctly on the Protect InnerSpace timeline.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause InnerSpace to occasionally get stuck loading.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause coverage areas for PTZ cameras to be rendered incorrectly.
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent G6-Bullet-Pro from being recognized and placed as a camera.
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent some users from uploading floor plans.
    • Fixed an issue where AP coverage did not adjust to the wall orientation during placement.
    • Fixed an issue where the AC-Mesh UMA-D antenna did not display the correct coverage pattern.
