Overview
We're excited to introduce 3 powerful, new features to InnerSpace: multi-floor coverage offers a powerful new way to visualize Wi-Fi deployments in multi-story buildings while the revamp of wall materials gives full flexibility to map out any building or site and the sensor integration exposes the readings of all sensors on a floor plan at a glance.
Improvements
Multi-floor coverage
- Use the new "Floor Plan Alignment" mode to align floor plans within your building.
- You can choose which floor plans are part of the building and align them with each other for accurate calculations.
- When you've added 2 or more floors to your building, access points will extend their coverage to the floor below them.
- A new view setting allows you to hide coverage from other floors when you want to verify the coverage of one floor in isolation.
Wall materials
- Default materials were updated to offer a greater variety and better coverage of real-world wall types.
- Editable attenuation: You can now adjust the attenuation value of each wall material to better match your needs.
- Custom materials: You can now create your own wall materials, including setting the name, color, and attenuation.
- Wall drawing will now default to the last used material.
USL sensor integration
- All sensor readings from the new USL sensor lineup are now displayed in a unified, at-a-glance view.
- Readings that fall outside your defined acceptable range are automatically highlighted, so you can quickly spot potential issues.
- Hovering over a measurement reveals a 24-hour graph showing how that value has changed over time, helping you diagnose trends and anomalies.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where some 3D models of devices rendered the wrong color variant.
- Fixed an issue where some access points would not render their coverage areas correctly.
