    Overview

    This release focuses on bug fixes.

    Improvements

    • Enhanced the users carrying capacity. This version has currently passed a 10,000-user test.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed an issue that caused the door unlocking failure even though the users’ identity is authenticated.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the door unlocking failure during upgrading access policies.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the doors from remaining open when the unlock schedule is enabled.
    • Other bug fixes.

    • To enhance users carrying capacity, please upgrade your UniFi Access application and UniFi OS Consoles to the following versions:
    • Access Application: v1.4.3
    • UDM Pro: v1.12.22

    Additional information

    1. For wiring chimes to UA-Hub, we provide two methods for different scenarios:

    • Scenario 1: You have installed one UA-Pro outdoor and one chime indoor, and you want the chime inside to ring when someone makes a call on UA-Pro.
    1. Launch your UniFi Access application.
    2. Click Devices and select a hub. A panel showing the hub details will appear.
    3. Click Ports.
    4. Scroll down to AUX Mode and select Doorbell Mode.
    5. Click Save.
    • Scenario 2: You have installed the chime indoors, and you want the chime inside to ring when someone presses the doorbell push button outside.
    1. Launch your UniFi Access application.
    2. Click Devices and select a hub. A panel showing the hub details will appear.
    3. Click Ports.
    4. Scroll down to AUX Mode and select Doorbell Mode.
    5. Scroll down to REN Mode and select Doorbell Mode.
    6. Click Save.

    2. To set the DPS input terminal, follow the steps below:

    1. Launch your UniFi Access application.
    2. Go to Devices.
    3. Select a UA-Hub and click Ports.
    4. Scroll down to the Input Terminal section.
    5. Select High Active NO or Low Active NC from the DPS dropdown menu.

    Note: Requires UniFi Access application v1.4.6 or above.

    Overview

    UA Hub 4.1.2.12 enables admins to set the AUX DRY mode and the AUX POWERED mode separately, has optimized the UA Hub’s removal and LED behaviors, and fixed door unlock issues.

    Improvements

    AUX Behavior

    • Added support for setting the AUX DRY mode and the AUX POWERED mode separately (requires the UniFi Access application v1.5.10 or later).
    • The DRY Port can be set to three modes:
    • Door Opener (Default)
    • Alarm
    • Chime
    • The POWERED Port can be set to two modes:
    • Alarm
    • Chime (Default)
    • When the AUX is in Alarm mode, an alarm will be triggered if a door is left open for too long.

    Device Removal

    • Removing a UA Hub from the Access application will also reset the hub.

    LED Behavior

    • Optimized the device’s LED behavior.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed an issue where doors sometimes could not be unlocked.

    • Added support for the following features in Access application > Devices > Location Hubs > select a Hub > Overview (requires the upcoming Access application v1.20.13 or later).
    • Unlock doors for a specific duration.
    • End the Leave Unlocked schedule ahead of time.
    • Always keep doors locked. Users can only unlock doors remotely or by using a physical button.

    Topology

    • Improved the display of UA device topology in the Network application, ensuring that the connection of readers to the UA Hub within the topology is accurately represented.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed the issue where doors sometimes could not be unlocked.

    Known issues

    • Updating UA Hubs may sometimes fail. When this occurs, please attempt the update again

    • Fixed the PoE output power drop issue during UA Hub restart. (UA Hub Door is not affected by this issue.)
    • Fixed the issue where activating Emergency Evacuation while Leave Unlocked is still effective caused Emergency Evacuation to deactivate when Leave Unlocked expired.
    • Fixed the following issues caused by the device crash:
    • Users could not unlock doors within a brief timeframe.
    • The device update initially failed but was successful upon retrying.
