    Bundled applications


    UniFi OS 2.5.17 for the UDM/UDM-Pro adds support for the Load Balancing (on the UDM-Pro), and wirelessly adopting the U6+/U6 LR+ access points.


    Load Balancing

    In addition to Failover, you can now configure Distributed Load Balancing to intelligently balance traffic over both WAN ports. The load balancing slider can be freely adjusted to match your specific setup. For example, if you have a 100/100 and a 500/500 ISP, set the slider to 20/80.

    Bugfixes

    • Fixed unable to establish Site-to-Site VPNs using DH groups 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32.
    • Fixed the wrong Config Backup list after a console owner transfer.
    • Fixed inaccurate timezone converting causing schedule issues for Scheduled Traffic Rules.
    • Fixed Bluetooth disconnecting when setting up MAC Address Clone with the Mobile app.
    • Fixed log rotation for firewall logs.
    • Fixed remote syslog not working since 2.4.x.

    WAN and LAN

    • Fixed showing false "Insert Network Cable" screen on LCM when only using WAN2 (SFP+).
    • Fixed gateway configuration error when using Jumbo Frames and having Port 9 set to LAN.
    • Fixed showing incorrect WAN IP in the UniFi OS settings after remapping WAN ports.
    • Fixed incorrect IP address in UniFi OS when using PPPoE.
    • Fixed rare kernel crashes when setting the SFP+ port to a fixed speed.

    Additional information

    • You must be on 2.4.27 or newer in order to update to this version, DO NOT update from 1.12.x to 2.5.x or newer.

    Kurz nachgeschaut, was auf meiner UDMpro drauf ist. Da kommt das!


    ... wer hat sich schon getraut?

    Update per Fernzugriff, kleines Problem das sich ein AP per Mesh an einen anderen gehängt hat, ein Power Cycle hat es behoben.

    Ansonsten bisher nix negatives festzustellen, haben aber auch alle Feierabend :winking_face:

    UDM-P mit "alter" official FW 2.4.27 mit network 7.2.97 wurde das Update auf die neue FW 2.5.17 angeboten und installiert, dadurch wurde auch network aktualisiert auf jetzt neu network 7.3.83.

    Bis jetzt schaut es gut aus.


    Es läuft jetzt UDM-P mit FW 2.5.17 und network 7.3.83 (wurde autom durch FW 2.5.17 aktualisiert/installiert).

    Ich berichte falls unvorhergesehene Situationen auftauchen.

    Also soweit läuft alles gut und stabil nur eine kosmetische Sache fällt auf, der Internet Health "Farbbalken" war jetzt seit 1,5 Jahren immer grün und ohne Probleme.

    Es wurde nichts verändert ausser FW und Networkversion aber der Farbbalken schimmert jetzt in allen Farben:



    Wie erwähnt es funktioniert alles einwandfrei und so wie immer nur der Farbbalken entwickelt jetzt ein Eigenleben :smiling_face: :smiling_face:

    Geschwindigkeit ist auch meinem ISP Vertrag entsprechend habe 500/50.

    Vielleicht bekommen sie das mit dem Internet Health Balken auch wieder in den Griff, mal schauen.


    Noch etwas ist mir aufgefallen, nach dem Restart der UDM-P war bei mir WAN1 Port 9 "finster" auch die LED am Modem war finster.

    Hier musste ich die Portgeschwindigkeit Umstellen von vorher 1 Gbps FDX (lief vorher damit 1,5 Jahre problemlos) auf "Auto-negotitation (default)", danach war die Verbindung sofort wieder da, siehe Bild oben WAN1.

    Also falls jemand ebenfalls keine Verbindung am WAN haben sollte, die Portgeschwindigkeit eventell Umstellen.

    Ansonsten, ja läuft alles.


    Und noch mal zu Sicherheit, es ist lediglich eine optische falsche Anzeige. WAN funktioniert einwandfrei und ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Ich habe auch keine Paketverluste (roter Bereich im Balken), lediglich die Anzeige gibt das vor, aber tatsächlich ist alleso k.

    Heute Morgen wurde mir FW 3.0.20 official für meine UDM-Pro angeboten - keine Probleme, alles läuft.

    WICHTIG!

    Es MUSS die 2.5.17 oder Neuer installiert sein für das Update auf 3.0.20!


    Ich warte dann mal bis Blackspy ein neues Thema für die 3.0.20 aufmacht und dort können wir dann im Detail weiterschreiben.
