    Overview

    UniFi LTE 6.6.22 includes the improvements listed below.

    Improvements

    • Added an indication to the screen when the device is in TFTP Recovery mode.
    • Improved device stability
    • Improved default APN settings.

    Additional information

    • Update your devices by changing the Device Firmware Release Channel in the UniFi Network application to Release Candidate.
    • If you wish to go back to the Official release after the upgrade, change the release channel back to Official.

    Gestern installiert und bis jetzt keine Probleme beobachtet. Nun ist das LTE-Backaup aber auch eins von den Geräten, das man ja nur im Notfall überhaupt nutzt und der ist bisher noch nicht wieder eingetreten. Ich melde mich nach dem nächsten Primärinternetausfall noch einmal ;-)

    Mein Setup

    WAN: 1x FTTH @ Deutsche Giganetz 1.000↓ / 1.000↑ @ UDM-SE, 1x U-LTE-Pro-EU @ O2 LTE4

    Core Switches: 1x USW-Pro-24-PoE, 1x USW-Pro-8-PoE

    Access Switches: 1x USW-Lite-16-PoE | 2x USW-Lite-8-PoE | 1x USW-Ultra | 1x USW-Flex-Mini

    Access Points: 1x U6-Pro, 2x U6-Lite | 1x U6-Extender

    Protect: 1x UVC-G5-Flex

    Extras: 2x UniFi Keystone Panel, 2x APC Smart UPS, Racknex 19" case Fritz!Box 6591 Cable (jetzt belegt mit der Fritzbox 7530 von DGN als Telefonzentrale im Client Modus hinter der UDM SE)

    Update: Nach installation der UniFi OS - Dream Machine SE 3.1.x (Version 3.1.6) hat die UDM zwar rebootet, aber keine Verbindung zum WAN mehr bekommen => LTE hat wieder klaglos übernommen. Ich mußte die Fritte rebooten, danach ging's auch wieder für 'ne Minute, bis die Fritzbox dann nochmal rebootet hat - diesmal offensichtlich auf Kommando des Providers, der meinte, das sei eine tolle Gelegenheit, um die Fritte gleich auch noch auf die neueste (gebrandete) Version zu aktualisieren => erneute Übernahme durch LTE.

    Hat also alles bestens funktioniert, weiterhin keine Probleme mit diesem Update beobachtet

    Beim mir wird seit dem Update auf 7.0.96 die externe Antenne nicht mehr verwendet. Trotz starker Outdoor LTE-Antenne liegt die Signalstärke statt bei 5 Balken nur noch bei 1-2 Balken (so viel, wie ich im Haus ohne externe Antenne erreiche. Aus- und Einschalten der "External Antenna" Funktion bringt keinen Unterschied. Es ist auch völlig egal, ob das Antennenkabel angeschraubt ist oder nicht. Ticket beim Service habe ich schon erstellt.

    Weiß jemand, wie ich wieder zur alten firmware 6.6.68 zurück gehen kann?

    EDIT: ich habe die Firmware auf 6.6.68 zurückgesetzt. Das Problem, dass die externe Antenne keinerlei Signalverbesserung bringt, ist geblieben :( Offensichtlich ist da bei mir zeitgleich ein weiteres Problem aufgetacht ...
