Grundsätzlich ja, OS2 soll ohne EA Betatest rauskommen, die 3er wird dann wohl als Beta rauskommen, wie es zeitlich ausschaut????? Wenn man die UDM/Pro nicht ins EOL schickt bleibt UI auch nix anderes übrig. In OS 3 wurde umgestellt auf Debian Bullseye, NodeJs und PostgreSql wurden ebenfalls umgestellt. Die neuste Beta von Protect setzt OS3 voraus und läuft wohl nicht unter OS1 und OS2. Daraus ziehe ich meine Schlüsse das umgestellt werden muss. UDM/Pro jetzt schon ins EOL zu schicken dürfte meh…

Das ist jetzt schon einfach. Aber ja, alles auf identischer Code Basis würde eine Migration erleichtern. Weiterer Vorteil das zB Firmware Update's schneller und gleichzeitig, für das gesamte Gateway Portfolio ausgerollt werden und Ubiquiti selbst bringt es erhebliche Kosten und/oder ressourcen gewinne, weniger Anpassung an alle Systeme etc.

Nicht ganz, die UXG haben eine Beta 1.13.x und sind daher weiter. Aber klar im Grundsatz sind die UDM/Pro/UXG noch auf OS 1.

Ich denke du musst erst die FW per SSH Downgrade'n und danach das Backup rein. Vorraussetzung du warst schon auf FW 3.1.x

Da sollte es kein Problem sein.
