https://community.ui.com/releases/UniFi-Talk-Application-2-1-9/82aa7236-e79a-46e0-8762-4de0148c8d55
Overview
This release introduces important stability and performance improvements and several features that improve phone customization and call handling:
- Phone Designer allows you to customize the wallpaper, ringtone, app availability, settings accessibility, and more. Once created, you can assign a phone design to one or more users to easily achieve a consistent look and feel across your phones.
- Starting with UTP-Touch Max 2.11.1 and UTP-Touch 1.11.4, additional information on the source of the call is now displayed on the incoming call screen for Smart Attendant, Group, transferred, and Ring Flow calls.
- Group call routing is now more resilient and not impacted by group members with a Do Not Disturb or Redirect status set.
Additionally, A2P 10DLC Registration is now available for SMS-enabled numbers in the United States. A2P 10DLC refers to a system in the United States that allows businesses to send Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers.
- Carriers in the United States consider all UniFi Talk SMS traffic to be A2P, and have started filtering or blocking A2P SMS messages from unregistered phone numbers.
- Due to recent carrier industry changes, you must complete A2P 10DLC Registration to send SMS messages from UniFi Talk phone numbers to United States phone numbers.
- A2P 10DLC Registration is currently available for UniFi Talk installations in the United States.
