Overview

UniFi Access Point 7.0.35 is only available for Gen7 Access Points and includes the improvements and fixes listed below.

Improvements

• Improved 2.4GHz latency.
• Improved Voice traffic prioritization.

Bugfixes

• Fixed incorrect channel width (20MHz) being reported in device table when 6GHz radio is broadcasting at 320MHz.
• Fixed connectivity issues with 802.11ac clients (e.g. Broadcom-based MacBooks) leading to stalled WiFi and unexpected disconnects.
• Fixed missing 6GHz neighbor reports
• Fixed kernel crashes to improve overall stability.
• Fixed channel interference being reported as 100% during DFS CAC.
• Fixed 6GHz channel change causing a full provision (leading to all clients disconnecting) for ~60 seconds.
• Fixed APs going into "Adoption Failed" state in some cases when using a third-party gateway.

Known issues

• SSIDs using RADIUS assigned VLANs or on different VLANs from the native VLAN may operate at slower than expected speeds. This is our top priority to resolve.

• Fixed newly applied WiFi Speed Limit not taking effect until client reconnects.
• Fixed uptime for clients being reported incorrectly in some cases.
• Fixed kernel crashes and stalls to improve stability.
• Fixed channel width being reset to old configuration if it is configured right as an AP is booting when channel is set to Auto.
• Fixed client IP address being reported incorrectly sometimes.
• Fixed incorrect channel width being reported when 240MHz is configured on the 5GHz radio.
• Fixed TX Retries being reported incorrectly.
• Fixed UAPs on large sites (with 1K+ clients) causing excessive CPU utilization on Network Application consoles/servers.
• Fixed Medium/Low transmit power configuration resetting to maximum (Auto/High) after firmware update in some cases.
• Fixed false positive Association failures on the Radios > Connectivity page.
• Fixed standalone adopted APs sending DNS queries for unifi frequently.
• Fixed 5GHz SSIDs not broadcasting in Australia when set to channel 165, width 20MHz.
