UniFi Access Reader G2 Pro 1.2.172 has improved the performance of video recordings and remote live view.

Improvements

• Improved recording reliability.
• Allow live viewing for up to 9 Access applications and mobile apps simultaneously.
• Added support for specifying the duration for capturing videos before and after a door opening event (requires Access application 1.21.8 or later).
• Implemented an automatic timeout feature for remote viewing, set at 120 seconds. Admins can customize this duration in Access application 1.21.8 or later.

• Fixed the issue where the reader’s screen sometimes went black.
• Fixed the issue where door unlock attempts sometimes failed and the “Invalid Card” error message was displayed despite scanning an authorized NFC card.

• The door unlock recording feature is unable to record audio from the device’s speaker during an ongoing doorbell call or remote live view.
