WiFiman Desktop 1.2.8 introduces new features, improvements, and bug fixes to enhance performance, usability, and stability across all supported platforms.

Improvements

• Added support for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
• Added the Speed page to run internet speed tests.
• Added Signal page for real-time WiFi signal analysis.
• Added support for multiple languages.
• Added the ability to sort and search consoles by name.
• Improved Teleport connection resiliency.
• Improved WiFi scan graphs for better signal visibility.
• Improved WLAN adapter detection and network adapter handling on Windows.
• Enhanced the overall app performance and system resource usage.
• Enhanced the user experience with UI and interaction refinements.

Bugfixes

• Fixed an issue where long device names were truncated in the Discovery tab.
• Fixed the issue with black tray icons on some systems.
• Fixed an issue where 5 GHz WiFi networks were not visible on some Linux devices.
• Fixed missing device icons in WiFi scan results.
• Fixed channel health calculation errors.
• Fixed Windows uninstallation and network adapter detection issues.
• Fixed the Windows Wireguard VPN network interface getting stuck after disconnecting Teleport.

Known issues

• Linux scanning results for 6GHz networks may show incorrect channel widths due to OS or WiFi adapter driver limitations.
