    Das scheint sich wohl noch ein Bisschen hinzuziehen.


    Außerdem muss man Ubiquiti anscheinend bei jeder neuen Beta Firmware daran erinnern, den Passus wieder aufzunehmen:

    Immerhin ist der Passus schon wieder enthalten. Ich habe zwar dieses VLAN Performance Thema, merke in der täglichen Arbeit im Home Office nichts davon.


    Trotzdem ein wenig unbefriedigend die Situation. Es gibt keine Beta Phase für neue Hardware Produkte mehr. Dann sollten zumindest solche groben Issues bei Produkt Launch beseitigt sein.

  • Ich habe auch schon grobe bedenken wen die 7.x auf die anderen AP kommen. Da wird es wieder ein halbes jahr dauern bis diese halbwegs stabil sein wird.

  • Da bist du mir jetzt zuvor gekommen. Wollte hier auch gleich schreiben. Aber gut, dass du das so im Blick hast, was bei mir abgeht. 😂


    Anscheinend ist das Performanceproblem aber noch nicht bei allen gelöst.


    Ich habe jetzt mit meinen Geräten ca. 1500MBit up/down.

  • Welche Frequenz (5 oder 6 GHz) und welche Clients? Ich komme mit Wifi 6e mit 6Ghz nicht auf diese hohen Downloadraten, habe aber auch keine Wifi 7 Clients.

    Dann stimmt was mit deinem Setup nicht. Hier im ersten Beitrag siehst du dass ich mit dem U6-Enterprise ebenfalls schon diese Datenraten (1500MBit up/down) hatte. Nun auch mit dem U7-Pro.


    WiFi 7 Clients habe ich auch nicht. Meine Tests habe ich mit einem iPhone 15 Pro Max und einem iPad Pro 11“ 4. Gen. Die haben beide auch „nur“ WiFi 6e.


    Die Tests haben im 6 GHz Band auf einem 160MHz Kanal stattgefunden. Ich glaub, auf der 5GHz Frequenz unterstützen beide Geräte nur 80MHz Kanäle. Kann mich aber auch täuschen.


    Wie ist denn dein WiFi konfiguriert und welche Clients verwendest du zum Testen?


    EDIT: Diesem Beitrag nach wird bei 5 GHz auch bei den iPhone 15 Pro Modellen nur 80MHz unterstützt.

  • Ich habe ein Macbook M3 Pro, also WiFi6e. Mit der aktuellen Beta Firmware erreiche ich im Upload auch ca. 1600 MBit, Download max. 1200 Mbit. Habe zwei U7 Pro, ist bei beiden gleich.


    Ich habe ein eigenes WLAN für 6GHz auf Kanal 53 mit einer Kanalbandbreite von 160 MHz. Transmit Power High, BSS Transition ein. WPA3


    Mit dem Download kann ich leben, ich vermute das liegt an meinem Macbook, deshalb hat es mich interessiert welche Clients du hast...

  • Was ist deine iPerf3 Gegenstelle?


    Ich habe hier zwei Server:

    - Einen mit Dual Intel X550 10GBit Ethernet NIC

    - Einen mit Mellanox ConnectX-3


    Wenn ich einen Speedtest zur Intel mache, habe ich ähnliche Ergebnisse wie du, der Download ist 300-500MBit niedriger, als der Upload. Mit der Mellanox habe ich in beide Richtingen 1500-1600MBit.


    Denke nicht, dass es am Mac liegt.
