DSM 6.2.4-25556 - Update 2 verfügbar

    Synology hat das neue Update 2 für die DSM Version 6.2.4-25556 auf dem Server geschaltet:

    Ihr müsst unbedingt die manuelle Installation wählen! Nicht das ihr euch irrtümlich das ganz neue DSM 7 installiert!

    Also passende .pat Datei für eure DS/RS herunterladen von obigem Link, am PC speichern und dann im DSM Akualisieren&Wiederherstellen auf die Schaltfläche "Manuelle Installation" klicken und dann die zuvor geladene .pat Datei angeben.

    Update 2 dauert ca. 3-8 Minuten und die Synologys werden danach alle automatisch neu gestartet.

    Funktioniert bei mir bisher auf allen DSen einwandfrei, AUSSER auf der Test-DS118 denn dort läuft schon zum spielen DSM7.


    Wie erwähnt, bisher fehlerfrei mit Update 2.


    Anmerkung:

    Bitte nicht wundern, es hat für die meisten Synologys nie ein Update 1 gegeben! Ihr habt also nichts versäumt. Es hat lediglich für 2 Modelle (DS414j und DS216play) damals ein Update 1 gegeben.

    Ihr könnt also von eurer jetzigen DSM 6.2.4-25556 Version direkt das Update 2 auf die jetzt für DSM 6 aktuelle Version DSM 6.2.4-25556-Update 2 gehen.

    Guter Hinweis. MWn gibt es das Update auf DSM7 noch nicht automatisch. Das bedeutet, dass auch hier noch (?) ein manueller Schritt nötig ist.

    Das Update auf DSM7 steht Dir frei. Ich bin noch nicht dabei - nur so ein Gefühl.

    DSM 7 läuft Welten flüssiger als DSM 6. Habe es nicht bereut umzusteigen.

    ich habe nun beide meiner DS918+ auf DSM 7 einem Upgrade unterzogen :winking_face:

    Mir war garnniicht bewusst, das ich über das quick connect schon direkt darauf zugreifen kann aus der Firma, obwohl keine ipv4 verfügbar ist, sondern nur ipv6.


    ABer gut :grinning_squinting_face: FIrewall ist ja auch noch gar nichts eingestellt :face_with_tongue:

    bei dir fehlte da die neueste Version Update 2.

    Grundsätzlich läuft DSM 7.0, ich habe das Testweise auf einer kleinen DS118.

    Auf dem Haupt-NAS lasse ich mir damit aber noch Zeit.

    Einer der Hauptgründe ist das neue Synology Photos -> das benötigt noch ein paar Berichtigungen und dann gehts damit dann auch.

    Auch gibt es noch keinen Photo Uploader so wie in der alten Photostation. Leider wird mit DSM7 die alte Photostation gelöscht und durch die neue Synology Photos ersetzt und dabei gehen ALLE bisherigen Userrechte auf die Ordner und Bilder verloren!

    Auch die früher vorhandene eigene Benutzerverwaltung von der Photostation gibt es nicht mehr. Es können nur wieder User verwendet weden welche auch im DSM 7 angelegt wurden, usw usw


    Ebenso funktioniert derzeit leider der AvrLogger von BigRonin nicht unter DSM7 und BigRonin war jetzt schon einige Monate nicht mehr im Forum.

    Die anderen Punkte zu DSM 7 habe ich gar nicht genutzt bislang.

    Demnach scheinbar für mich dann auch nicht sooo wichtig gewesen. Muss mich aber mal mehr damit auseinander setzen :winking_face:

    auf meiner bereits auf dem Dachboden Staub ansetzenden DS216j ...dito "NEW LIFE" !
    Diese werkelt nun in meinem IT Büro auf der Arbeits
    mit 2x3TB und wir freuen uns für 3TB internen "Space" nur für uns allein ...hihi
