Über USB C ist da viel zu machen, zur Zeit max 100 Watt bei 20V und in Zukunft 240 Watt bei 48 Volt.

Nimmt man die jetzigen 20V und bringt die intern auf 48V so sollten 2 POE+ Ports drin sein, inkl die 10 Watt eigen Verbrauch.

Hat auch nur ein 5V 3A Netzgerät dabei. Selbst wenn die 20V genutzt hätten, bräuchten die nen großen Step Up, um das Bereitzustellen, und das ganze wird 2x so groß. Und nach aktueller (eher geplanter) Spezifikation für Power Delivery extendet Range ist dies für MPPT charging von Akkus über USB-C gedacht(e Bikes,…) , und noch im Prototypenstatus.

Hätte ja ruhig mal ne Woche früher kommen können - hab mir bereits das UCG-Ultra letzte Woche geholt - hier hätte mir eigentlich nur ein bis zwei weitere 2.5gbit Ports gefehlt.

Da ich aber doch sehr zufrieden bin bleibe ich auch erstmal dabei - der Aufpreis wäre es mir so ersteinmal nicht wert. Aber klingt erstmal ganz ordentlich - wie angemerkt wäre hier noch poe ganz zielführend gewesen.

Was glaubt ihr da UniFi momentan lauter neue Hardware auf den Markt bringt wie hoch ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer neuen UDM-Pro?

Das UCG Uötra hat den Controller dafür on Board, das Gateway max braucht einen externen Controller

Finde den onboard Controller mittlerweile auch irgendwie besser - läuft irgendwie alles deutlich schneller…

Zum Thema was kommt als Nächstes:

Könnte mir eine UDM Pro SE 2 vorstellen - vielleicht dann mit 2.5gbit Switch und POE - das würde ich dann tatsächlich auch wieder in Betracht ziehen zu kaufen. Brauche allerdings das ganze Video und Zutritts gedöns nicht zwingend auf dem Gerät…
