UniFi Network Application 8.0.24

Overview

UniFi Network Application 8.0.24 adds support for Admin Settings Change Logs and includes several stability fixes and improvements.

Admin Settings Change Logs

Allows you to track all settings changes and who performed the changes.

Added device model column to Radio Manager.

Added WAN/LAN IP addresses to the dashboard for Network Application Servers.
Added validation when a new network is trying to use a subnet that is already used by an OpenVPN Client.
Added support for PPPoE WAN without credentials, this requires UniFi OS 3.2 or newer.
Allow removing Networks with any references, you'll receive a warning message before deletion.
Improved Guest Portal loading latency.
Increased the index space for Firewall rules.
Increased default network limit to 255. Some devices have lower limits such as USG, or InWall AP models.
Split the Clients list into Online/Offline tabs.
Updated the list of Dynamic DNS providers.

Bugfixes

Fixed an issue with configuring radios of UAP-XG's and UAP-BaseStationXG's via Radio Manager.
Fixed an issue where IPv6 Prefix Delegation or IPv6 Single Network was broken on non-default networks. This only affects the UXG line of devices.
Fixed inability to edit Port/Device settings when an incorrect channel was applied on an AP.
Fixed inability to open Internet Settings in rare cases.
Fixed rare gateway configuration error due to invalid default RADIUS profile ports.
Fixed rare Gateway Configuration error on UDM/UDR/UDW.
Fixed an issue where the All Traffic row in Traffic Monitor didn't include unidentified traffic.
Fixed an issue where some port profiles failed to get applied on InWall APs.
Fixed a rare case where Traffic Rules would stop working while Ad Blocking was enabled.
Fixed an issue where the Network Application wasn't getting stopped on Windows during upgrades or removal.
Fixed incorrectly reported built-in antenna gain.
Fixed the inability to connect to Guest Portals in rare cases.
Fixed the inability to open Security settings in rare cases.
Fixed rare gateway configuration errors.
Fixed an issue where Suspicious Activity was allowed to be applied on non-local networks.
Fixed an issue where client uptime could be invalid, the fix applies to new connections.
Fixed an issue where Device type filters were resetting selected columns.
Fixed an issue where Client Isolation couldn't be disabled when using a Guest Portal.
Fixed an issue where port anomalies were not showing details on Port diagrams.

UniFi Network Native Application for UniFi OS

A specific application version that is only compatible with the UDM and UDR (running UniFi OS 3.1.6 or newer).

The UniFi OS update uses the application version that is required for your console.
The manual update process via SSH requires you to use the compatible package. Incompatible packages will be rejected on installation.
Older UniFi OS versions (before UniFi OS 3.1.6) on the UDM and UDR still use regular UniFi Network Application for UniFi OS.

UniFi Network Application 8.0.26

Bugfixes

Fixed an issue where WAN2 configurations were removed after a firmware upgrade when using 8.0.24 with a Static or PPPoE WAN configuration.
This only prevents new occurrences. Affected setups need to be restored from a backup before this issue or re-create their WAN config.
Fixed gateway/console showing offline when WAN interface cannot be found.

Moin an alle Early Access User,

es wurde ja das neue VLAN Feature vorgestellt, meine sogar für die letzte Network Version, habe jetzt die Version8.0.26 und Firmware

v3.2.7 im Early Access, dort habe ich das Feature noch nicht, ist das bei euch auch so?

Mir geht es um Das VLAN Feature, wodurch man die Geräte anklicken kann und daraus ein VLAN generieren kann.

Wo wurde das den angekündigt (hab nicht alle Changelog in Kopf) und vor allem für welche Geräte.

Auf der UDMSE sieht aktuell (3.27 und 8.0.26)

Da habe ich also ein „plus“, das fügt aber nur ein VLAN dazu ohne das nun die Irgendein gerät da rebverschoben wird.

Ahh ja genau das ist das was sich hinter meinen Plus verbirgt. Das geht sehr gut finde ich persönlich aber schwachsinnig,

WEIL:

Oh VLAN2 möchte ich nicht, mit einem IP Bereich den ich nicht will.

Ich maus also eh rein und VLAN ID und Netzwerk wieder ändern,

da kann ich das auch gleich Manuel anlegen. Aber nun das zuweisen

zu dem VLAN geht aber auch mit bestehenden VLANS...

Ach soo..

Kabel Geräte eher nicht, NUR WLAN Clients...

Wenn ich mich nicht irre dann ist das schon seit 7.5.156 drinnen

Das zuweisen des VLAN scheint dann nur für WLAN Clients zu funktionieren Kabel Geräte sind „non Supporten“

NAT Pool

Adds the ability to NAT traffic to a pool of addresses on specific networks. Requires UniFi Cloud Gateways and UniFi Gateways version 3.2.9 or newer.

Configure NAT Pool using the Internet Source / NAT option on Virtual Networks.
This option will appear when Additional IP Addresses are configured on the WAN.

L3 Network Isolation and Device Isolation (ACL)

Control traffic on your network using Access-Lists (ACLs) on UniFi Switches. Requires UniFi Switch firmware 7.0.38 or newer.

L3 Network Isolation automatically blocks all traffic between devices in different networks.
Device Isolation automatically blocks all traffic between devices in the same network.
